Monterey County's Best DJ is now available for your wedding or special event! The readers of Monterey County Weekly have voted Hanif Wondir "Best Club DJ" six times—in 2017, 2016, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011. With his trademark wide-ranging musical fluency, Hanif masterfully mixes across genres, keeping the dance floor moving and his clients happy.

 

Hanif Wondir hosted weekly radio shows in Eugene, Oregon, beginning in high school and continuing through college at the University of Oregon. After graduation, Wondir co-founded the popular Northwest-based hip-hop group Animal Farm, recording with legendary artists such as Talib Kweli, KRS-One, DJ Rob Swift and Abstract Rude. He has performed at CMJ Music Marathon and SXSW, and shared stages with legends including De La Soul, Common, Macklemore, N.E.R.D., LMFAO, The cast of "The Office" and Mos Def.
